With the HR Y-pipe, it rubs on the flex-pipe portion so it vibrates and rattles like crazy.. had to take mine off temporarily while I find an exhaust to get. Great excuse to get an exhaust..

Anyone have this brace without fitment problems with their exhaust? I'm looking at the FI Intimidator since it looks like the y-pipe portion is more in line with the non-HR shape, but wanted to ask around.

 

I have the MD exhaust with mine.

If you use the resonator addon after the XYZ then it'll hit, but nothing some heat wrap can't solve. However if you don't want it to hit at all then you can go with the straight pipe instead and it will clear.

 

Thanks! I don't think heat wrap would have solved the fitment issue with the HR Y-pipe.
