The two most difficult parts will be removing the front strut and re-bolting the rear lower spring mount. The lower control arm will be in the way of the front strut, so hopefully you will have a heavy person to stand on the wheel hub. The rear lower spring mount might be a little tricky to line up, but using a jack might help.

For the front after removing all the bolts (including the end link bolt I recommened earlier in this thread) you push down on the suspension arm which will bring the top strut bolts under the fender well, then pull the strut towards you. Doing so will allow you to push the strut up into the deepest/highest part of the fender well and give you enough clearance to move the lower connection above and around the lower control arm.

Using a floor jack on the rear spring cup will definately make it alot easier to line up the bolt on the front of the spring cup.

I tried working on the front left shock to begin with. Had to spend some time trying to remove the nut holding the upper arm- it kept turning with the bolt. Had to remove some crusty stuff on the bolt threads and with the use of lithium grease it finally came off after a few tries.

Also had issues removing the lower endlink bolt as an allen key is required to remove it - the bolt head is actually covered. I think for an 05 and 06 sedans, the components used are somewhat different - based on the photos I have seen from the DIY's anyhow. The DIY's certainly helped, but it was kind of frustrating as I thought it would be plain simple. I will work on the right side tomorrow, hopefully it is not going to rain. It think it will be a little easier as I know what things slowed me down.

Removing the end link from the lower suspension arm definitely gave the whole suspension the play I needed to remove the shock.

I just borrowed another jack from my brother so I should be good to tackle the rest, I just need some new cotter pins.

^I don't know the specs but it's not much. It just needs to be snugged up. Buy the stainless steal cotter pins as opposed to the alluminum ones.
