Brembo Brakes vs Regular (swap)

I crashed my G 2 weeks ago and just picked up another one yesterday, now i have both but the original is only for parts (I will be selling them later BTW), my question is:

Can I swap the brakes and rotors? is it as simple as, take from one and put on the other or do I have to have the lines change as well?

Thanks

Yea the brembos are a direct swap. I think you do need to change the lines though, good time to upgrade to some stainless ones.

PM SDgenius, he just swapped some onto his sedan.

Assuming you're only talking brakes, the BMC (brake master cylinders) and brake boosters are different between the two models, though it shouldn't create any issues. The feel will be slightly different on a 5AT than it would be on a 6MT, perhaps a bit firmer due to the smaller BMC bore diameter in the 5AT, though that could be offset by a larger diameter booster on the 5AT.

swapping brembos over to an oem equiped with what you have you shouldnt need anything. you can reuse your rubber lines, just have to separate and hardline to reuse. also a recamendation for a professional look, take your rear dust sheilds off and swap them too. im looking at ordering a set since i cut mine to clear the rotors. your dont need to swap brake booster either. https://g35driver.com/forums/brakes-...swap-work.html that link is when i first did mine, when i get back from this deployment ill try to include some more info and such. if you have any questions feel free to pm me.
