Eibach Springs
Eibach Springs
Hey guys, just wondering what you all would think looked better and ride better on an '05 Lakeshore Slate Coupe.....Eibach Pro springs with a 1.1"F/1.1"R drop OR Eibach Sportline Springs with a 1.6"F/1.4"R drop. I really appreciate your guys' opinions!
Oh, I forgot to mention I have Tokico HP Blues in the rear and stock "sport suspension" shocks in the front. Also, if I did the Eibach Pro springs that had the 1.1" drop all around, do I really need the Camber kits??
Any reason why you don't have the blues all around? As for camber kit, you're going to need it bc the drop is more than .5"
As for ride quality/comfort, I hear more people complement the eibach pro springs over the sportlines but the sportlines are supposed to give you more of a drop.
I guess it all depends on what you're looking for. IMO, I'd grab the two front Tokico blue struts and have em installed along with the springs. That way everything will be similar and you'll get more use out of them over the stock shocks.
The lower springs will cause your stock shocks to blow much faster anyway. Might as well save money on the labor and do it right the first time

Hey thanks for the input! My right rear shock blew so I decided to just put the two Tokico's in the back for now. As for camber kits, those things are like $300-500 plus the springs/installation/alignment after that! That's a decent chunk of $$$. Anyways, I really appreciate your help!

If you go with the pro kit you can get by without the front camber kit I have an 05 coupe w/ sport suspension..Im on stock shocks..I have the ichiba rear camber kit and no camber kit in front..I am just a little out of spec up front but I am not getting any uneven wear or anything its really close. If you go with the sport kit you will definitely need a front camber kit Imo the pro kit is plenty low..I have a lip and with the pro I have about a cell phone height clearance.
Hmmm, interesting.....if I got the Pro Kit you think all I need in addition to it would be this (http://www.conceptzperformance.com/C...0.119.99.194)?
yeah..and really you could squeek by for a while without them..i have a friend that doesnt use them without issue...I just didnt want to burn through tires to fast. but you definitely would not need the front.

Pro will ride better than the sportline. I had the Pro on my 03 6MT with 18's and it was very tolerable as a dd car. No alignment kit needed with the Pro when it was installed. I think it turned out good....
miss her!

Hey my local shop just offered to put the coupe Eibach's on my sedan and said they will work. Is this true, I don't just want his say. He said he will do it for 450. But he didn't say anything about camber kits, will I definately need thoses? It is the coupe pro-kit so it would drop my front 1.1" and my back 1" is this ok to do on a sedan? thanks for everyone's input, I go to this site first to check if I can do certain mods.
