shocks with cut springs?

Yes, and it has nothing to do with the shocks. The springs were well thought out by automotive engineers. The spring rate and height were thought out and tried until they got the right combo. Some idiot with a blow torch is going to mess up what the smart guys with college degrees designed. If you cut them you will be on the bumpstops constantly since the springs have a low spring rate. Being on the bumpstops means you have a good chance of losing control of your car.

Buyin new shocks and cuttin your springs alittte will feel stock! but dont cut to much than it will be bouncy. BUT its better to just wait and get coilovers.. i think springs is just a waste of time! when they say " im waitin for my springs to settle" you can tell they aint satisfied with the drop. and it still looks HIGH! but rims would help it be lower though.

^haha nice
OP, YES you are going to run into some problems. When you cut springs your change their compression rate to some crazy astronomically unknown amount. This could inevitably cause your springs to shoot out the sides of your fenders and you crash and die.
But really, it's gonna ride like ****, feel like **** and be unsafe as ****. Every thing I said above is true, except that springs shooting on the fenders part.
Stop ***** footin' around and buy coils, don't be a ricer and chop springs.
