Color for brake calipers

I have a z not a g but i was curious to know people input on what color i should repaint my oem brembos to. i like the gold but i want something new. Charcoal grey with red decals is ood but it seems like it doesn't stick out as much. my car is black on black. with no tint on the tail lights

The consensus here is either silver or black. Any other color just doesn't look right on stock calipers.

red would look good on the black on black... aslo go with your rear tails. You can probably get away with any color since its black on black.

My bad, I didn't read carefully enough. I still like the idea of silver on a black/black car.

I agree with Tim if you're going for a more classy look. Gold or Red is too obvious to fall into the classy department, especially with B on B. I'm in the process of upgrading to some 06 OEM brakes on my 05 DG AWD, but I didn't want OEM gray/silver, so I'm painting them black.

Mig, I can't offer any advice to you because I think the Akebono's look awesome the way they are, and I'm envious that you have them because I can't since they wont' fit under my 17" OEM winter setup. But if I were forced to pick a color, it would be black.

OK, Prokari, you send your Brembo's to Mig so he can have a new color against his BS, and you get his silver Akebono's to go with your OB. There, problem solved. Please close this thread.
