Trying to diagnose possible wheel bearing

To make a long story short, I curbed my car on the R/F side and I tried to have the dealer warranty it. They blamed the tires but they have since been inspected and re-balanced. I get the noise when going straight and on R turns. It's a humming that varies about every second even at a constant highway speed. When I take L curves it goes away. I know most of the time a R wheel bearing will get louder on L turns since the load is increased at the R wheel. Could the symptoms be completely opposite and still be the R side? I have not put it up in the air and checked for play at the wheels yet since I have no access to jackstands and I would rather not have a local shop charge to take a look at it.

A right side damaged wheel bearing can cause problems turning right or even with slight adjustments such as a lane change to the right. Just tell the dealer there is play in the wheel and to change the darn wheel bearing out under warranty. I've been through this!

I think I went about 6k miles with a broken wheel bearing. I was so used to it that when I got it fixed, felt like I was driving a totally different car. Lol
