Lowering Springs and Suspension Travel
I am looking to lower my g35 sedan 6mt using OE style springs & dampers.
I have taken a look *springs* sticky.
My primary concern is suspension travel. Driving in NYC, bump travel is very important.
I like the ride height that the revised 350z springs provide and much prefer linear springs. My concern is bump travel of the suspension. Lowering of 1" without a corresponding increase of spring rate essentially means 1" less effective suspension travel. There are ways around this...cutting bump stops and/or shortened dampers. Here is a good link to what I mean:

What OE style springs/dampers will allow me to lower my car without changing effective suspension travel?
Stiff linear spring rates are fine by me, but hitting the bumpstops constantly and unpredictable progressive springs is not.
