Rotor replacement time

My OEM brakes are shuddering really bad at higher speeds due to warpage so its time for a replacement. I'll go ahead and say I'm not going to replace with stock equipment due to the excessive amount of rain in my area. The OEMs just don't cut it. So I'm either going slotted or cross-drilled/slotted. Had Brembo replacement rotors on my previous cars and they did a great job but sadly they aren't manufactured for the '06 model I have. Has anyone here had experience with Rotora replacement discs? can't find any reviews. I'm worried about the close proximity of the cross-drilled holes but otherwise they seem like a nice piece of hardware. Any suggestions? Any reviews of these : Frozen Rotors?

How do you expect that slotted or slotted/drilled will be any better in the rain? Just wondering, as I've not read anything on that being an advantage in wet weather....

Im sure youve heard of outgassing being one of the original reasons for cross drilled type rotors and that is no longer a problem with current pad technology, but it is a problem with steam production as water hits heated rotors. When i switched from my audi with drilled rotors to the g with solids i immediately felt a huge difference in wet weather braking. It really does make a differenxe here especially with how much standing water we have on roads.

I see...Well, what rotors you get depends on how much you want to spend. You can get really cheap with R1concepts slotted/drilled rotors. I ran those for 3 years without any issues, then replaced them last month with OEM rotors when they warped (didn't want slotted/drilled anymore). After that, you can step up to all the more costly ones, but I don't have any experience with those....

Decided to go with Rotora Drilled/Slotted, will post review when available even though no one seems interested...

Rotora rotors came in last night and damn are they f***** heavy! Also got my Stoptech SS lines in this week. They both look like quality products. The symmetric design of the Rotora brakes is a nice change from Brembos. Pics later

Centric Premium blanks. They also come in slotted variety from Stoptech, and cryo-treated as well. I have the regular ones and they are great. Feel just like the OEM ones that came from the factory on my Brembo-equipped coupe.

Front rotor weight as measured was 22 Lbs. I installed them today and they feel great. Theres definately more control in stopping.
How much of that was due to the Stoptech SS lines is debateable. I'll give a full analysis after break in period.
So far they definately seem to have been worth the money ($380 after shipping). Ordered from Vivid Racing with approximately 1.5 weeks between order and delivery.

haha, yeah, never had to post a pic on here before, I'll have to watch that next time. but hey, you definately get a good look at em! They were about 380 after shipping for the fronts.
