How low of a drop will require a camber kit?

I tried searching but nothing gave me the answer I wanted.
This question is for coupes, I want to get either Tien H or S techs but I am not sure if this will be a money pit if I'll need a camber kit just to save the life of my tires?

Chime in.

H-tech(z or g) or S-tech(G) you dont really need a camber kit.. Just flip the tires. I Believe anything over a inch u should get a camber kit.

I had 350z H-Tech's and needed front and rear camber kits. A lot of people drop as low as G/Z S-Tech's and don't run camber kits. I don't know how they do it, but I guess some people can live with it...

Would I be ok going with 350Z H techs? I heard and Z spring will give you .5 more of a drop than the springs made for G's, whether its in the front or back idk but I should be ok with G H techs right?

With that Tanabe drop I can 100% guarantee you that it affected your alignment settings. I'd rather do it right the first time and get front and rear camber kits, why do you want to wait for your first set of tires to shred just to confirm to yourself when it's already a widely known fact that you're going to have tire wear problems with those springs?

^^from what ive read with 1" drop front and .6" rear i should be good. like i said my tires gotta be changed soon anyway. maybe jus an alignment in a month or so thats bout it. no camber kit. i had a 06 altima dropped 1.8" front and .8 rear and had it like that for 3 years without any camber wear or kit. so im not worried

Almost any drop is going to at least need a rear camber kit. The only way to be sure is to get dropped then get an alignment done. If you want to cover your bases, get the rear camber kit and have the arms and springs installed at the same time. Then get an alignment. If you need help with translating your results, scan it a post it up in the forum.

don't need a camber kit for a 1 inch drop. anything lower "yes" if want to save tires.
