How do I remove this compression rod? I've tried to heat the sleeve with a propane torch and chisel the top, but no luck!!! Looking for tips, tricks, or someone to come to my house and yank it off!!

Are you trying to remove/replace the bushing? If so, take the whole rod off the car, and take the rod to a shop (or if you have one yourself) that has a hydraulic press to remove the bushing and also press a new one on. Hope this helps!

Start spraying some PB Blaster on there and let it soak...then in 10 minutes, get a rubber mallet and give it a few wacks

Thanks for the reply. I've tried that, but I'll try it again. What's the best place to SMACK it? Because when you hit the actual rod, the bushing cushions. The sleeve inside the bushing is what's rusted to the bolt.
