Are yall kids done arguing? The ones from topspeed and ebay look different. they are not the same color orange. I wont say they are the same as i am not about to pull them apart to find out the internal. The coils are ok but cheap. The rear struts will blow and so will the upper pillowball mounts and make noise. Ive installed 2 sets of ebay coils and they didnt seem to go as low as the topspeed mdus i use to own.

Alright sense this is a review thread i might aswell give my input on these coils. So i bought them going out on a limb looking to save money and to slam my car and for 2 months that i had these installed they were great for what they were. After 2 months riding "True coilver" style i started to have a very squishy ride in the right rear. I put the car up on the lift the next day and noticed that my right rear coilover was leaking yellow oil all over the place and was clanking like crazy so i proceed to take the coilover out. Then everything fall apart in my hands.....

I emailed the seller and requested that i either get my money back or have this coil replaced and i quote "Sorry i cant do either but if you get the coilover repaired i can paypal you back the repair cost. It would cost way to much to send the coilover back to be replaced". So ive had these for a year sitting in my garage taking up dust. Do i think it was worth it? Yes. Would i have done it again for the price i paid? Yes. Im not looking for buyer remose either just giving everyone a heads up on what the deal is. After futher inspection there is a nut that goes up and down in the coilover that screws into metal rod. It completely exploded and when the yellow oose spilled all over me chunks of metal and metal shavings came out aswell. The right rear was the side i always had a clanking noise sense i installed them.

They're the exact same coilovers..the difference in color you see is a high quality camera vs a non Lol..I'm not trolling. Go see what the guys on my350 are saying about the ones from top speed and the recent group buy.

Just wanted to stop by and thanks, I read from page one to the last post and it was very informative. As a potential consumer I must say reviews like this are invaluable to newbie's like me, trying to go low on a budget. I think i'll invest a little more money and get something with a little more longevity. Thanks guys

James you want to keep arguing with me? Ive had both sets in my shop and they are different colors. The ones from ebay look cheaper and the anodizing is faded looking and come with all types of chips and nicks. The topspeed ones seem better quality from looks compared to the ebay ones. Once again james just cuz you research doesnt beat first hand experience. lol what you got now???????????/

Once again James you are looking at pics. I had both sets of coils in my hand. You want to keep arguing go right ahead. Had you own both sets? I can research all day long and look at pics but end of the day you cant say forsure until you owned both and driven on both.

Do you really believe that? Or is it a possibility that they had to lower their price to compete with fleabay?

See the difference?

To solve your guys problem and dispute.. The Swang & Bang guys are my childhood friends. I lived a block away from these guys and use to hang with them back then and I have a connection to them.

The only reason why they are lower than the usual is because they do something different to make it lower.. Thats what I meant when I say "you can make it lower, if you know how to".

The blue Z sat just like my cousins Z. They are both running 19's. Swang and bang crew runs 20's. it decreases the gap.
