Tokico Dspecs cluncking and clicking over bumps??

hey guys

i just had my suspension changed to tokico dspecs. i took the bump stops out also but now my car makes a cluncking clinking noise over every bump. makes the noise in both rear sides. it sounds like something is flapping around by the top hat. what can be causing this problem?? any suggestions is really appreciated on how to fix the problem. my boy franklin will be taking a look at it but just looking for suggestions on what we can check out when we take a look at it.

thanks

what do you mean by "bump stops" and did you install the adjustment extensions?

I have stock suspension on and is making the same clicking noise on the rear right at low speeds. I believe that this noise might be from the suspension mounts. Let me know when you solve the problem so I can try to apply it on my car. Thanks!

Mine sounded like a plastic on plastic sound with the extensions installed I think they were rubbing though. Not sure if that's what yours is doing

They must not be torqued down properly...that's the only reason why you would be hearing a noise from them. Unless, all of a sudden at the same time your sway-bar endlinks failed.

^ jeah, check your sway bars - see if the endlinks look ok and if your bushings need to be lubed. sway bars sometimes make noise for a few days after you've adjusted other parts of the suspension.

If the dampening on D-Specs is set at a very soft setting, it is common for them to clunk over bumps. Try putting them a little stiffer and see if the clunking goes away.

when i had the bump stops in no noise. then we took them out and it clunks up top. i think its not torqued but idk. also i already tried very firm and very soft and both had no affect on the clunk
