suprisingly theres not very much that can go really bad with the uas kit. its a really basic kit. the main things that happen when people do a crappy install is..

blowing bags from rubbing - pretty much impossible with the uas or just about any kit i ahve seen used on the G.

blowing compressor fuses - as long as you know how electricity works this should not happen.

leaking fittings - there are TONS of fittings involved with air ride, tons of weak spots for air to leak from. no one is going to get it leak free the first time. it has to be played with and tried a couple times.

other than that. just make sure you tighten all the bolts that you took out or are putting in.

Kenny 5 hours for bag install damn dude, you must be like superman lol. Installed mine and on a Z and even knowing exactly what to do now and simply repeating the install i still don't think i could do it in 5 hours(and i work much faster than most people). Would pay to see that, no joke hahahahaha

Hey ShaneG, did you get my message? I sent you one about getting some **** installed.

Anyways, would you guys suggest going with coils first or with UAS? Eventually I would like to have both, but I'm already spending over 10gs this month...

Also, what coils work with UAS? I don't want to be doing any fab work or if I must, I want to keep it at a minimum. I might invest in a electronic controller for the coils if I go with those first. Am I going to be able to raise the coils to drivable level and then lower it back down when it's stationary? I heard you can do this with the UAS but I'm not sure if it's possible with the coils.

^Damn yeah i did, my bad, I'm leaving on vacation tomorrow for 9 days so i've been all over the place. Not sure if the time frame would be ok, but yeah will be gone till the 27th of this month.

You can use any coils struts that have a 2.5" tubing or lower i believe but don't quote me on that, may be 2.25". I'm on just oem struts

Hmm alright, I guess I need to find somewhere else then . Do you get a good amount of adjustment with using oem struts? I hear you can very minimal adjustments so I was thinking I might as well go with coils + electronic since it's cheaper also.

yeah i can pretty much put it on the ground, the rears i wish would go just a lil lower, i was running my F&F rear stuts for a while and they droped real low in the rear, prob about 3/4" less with the oem struts

Sorry, I guess I wasn't clear with what I was asking. What i meant was since I'll be slammed I'm going to need adjustments when I go over bumps and whatnot. I just heard I can't raise the car that much?

I can raise the car higher than oem settings lol and drop it to the floor, not sure who told you that.

The ONLY way you wouldn't have alot of adjustment would be if you had like a minature bag which is impossible lol, or you adjusted AFTERMARKET struts ALL the way to the shortest setting then yeah you may not have alot of range for the front. The rear is separate so you would never have that problem.

i love my UAS kit. i went with a 8 valve manifold instead just so it eliminates the mess of trying to find a leak with a reg 8 valve system with all the fittings associated with it. i went from tein s-techs to UAS kit with Tokico dpsecs and love them. i removed the bump stops to go lower. might think about cutting the UAS brackets on the bags so i can touch the floor in the future. lol

its about the installer too. i know i got my kit installed by really good guys who know wut they are doing and installed air on their cars

Shane how about instead of paying to see me do it. You buy me the uas kit and I will install it on my car and film it. Deal? Ok good. Pm me for my address. Haha.

Shane how come you didn't decide to just drop the springs off your f&f and use the struts vs oem? Also how is the ride and handling compared to the coils? I am actually looking to possibly make a switch to UAS within the next year or so... Just need to save up for the install X_X
