what to do about changing brakes.

my car has had the same brake pads/discs for 27000 miles now and the brake pads are done. ive always heard of people going ahead and replacing both the discs and the pads but is it really necessary to change the discs? cant you just replace the pads?

yes you can just change the pads....i just changed my pads since the rotors were still good

it would be best to take the rotors in and have them turned

is turning the rotors the same thing as resurfacing them? thanks for the replies guys.

you can resurfacing your rotor 2 0r 3 times before need a new one.
