Random Brake Question
Random Brake Question
So I just bought a 2004 G35 about a month ago. Brakes and pads were replaced in Sept before I bought the car. Since owning it there was a very bad squeaking noise coming from what sounded like the back right tire only when braking slow going less than 10mph. I went to the dealership to ask what was up (my first problem) and they told me that the pads were completely worn and that it had looked like I was driving around with the E-brake on (sounds like bs to me). The pads were replaced again and I still have the noise. Is there a bigger issue at hand other than just being annoying? What gives?

Thanks for the tips. Problem is I bought the car in NJ and live in Mass. I brought it to the Danvers Infiniti to get it looked at and that’s when they told me I needed new pads and replaced them. The dealership I bought it from would not cover the costs so I ended up filing a complaint with Infiniti Corporate to get the coverage of the work. To be honest it has been a **** show and I feel played by both dealerships. I just hope it’s not a bigger issue.
