Want to go lower on coilovers

I have Tanabe Sustec Pro Coilovers on my 04 Sedan.

I already maxed them out for as low as they can go and I want to go lower.

On the front and back, there are the 2 rings that you turn to adjust the height. Well since I have them at the lowest setting, can I remove one of the rings so that I can get like another half inch lower?

I was thinking the point of the 2 rings is so that they stay locked in place, but since theyre already at their lowest point, i could get away with not having the second ring?

Yes, if you have that extra ring you can remove it.

So it's cool that I remove the second ring right? I was worried that 1 might not be strong enough
