Hey guys jus trying to clear this up. I know the question has been thrown out alot but :

Do SPL front A-arms "knock" on the strut tower like the SPC front A-arms do on slammed rides?

MY G35 is pretty dam low on coilovers, but nearly as low as i want because i have the SPC front A-arms and the constantly knock on the strut tower.

I'm debating selling the SPC's and going with SPL's if enough people can conferm no/less knocking with the SPL's

From what I understand the SPL V2s and up do not knock. I think the SPL V1s did knock, but you could get them "fixed" by SPL. I'm sure someone who has had them and is low can confirm this.

 

Yes im on coilovers and thank you for the input Marcus, just trying to get as much postitive feedback because i waste my time and money selling my SPC and buying SPL.

My buddy has SPLs on his slammed coupe with no issues. I've had SPCs on my sedan when it was slammed with no issues.

Overall, the SPLs are a nicer quality and supposedly have a wider adjustment, but the SPCs worked just fine for me.

 

I have SPCs and don't have any problems but, I'm not really "slammed".

 

i mean im LOW but not maxed out, i was maxed out but the SPC's were resting on the strut tower

 

I have the SPL V2s, I'm pretty low, and they don't knock.

oh okay so your pretty low also, and you say the SPL V2's dont knock? My SPC's knock if i run over a penny in the road.

I've had no knocking with SPL. They make quality parts that are made to have no issues.
