I was reading around on the forum and was a surprised to see a few mentions of a GT Spec fender brace. I'm a bit confused because I dont see a fender brace for the G35 coupe at all on the GT spec website but when I do a google search, I see a few websites are carrying them with a Part # and everything(GTS-SUS-1370). Are these just discontinued parts or did GT spec neglect to put it up on their website? I'm pretty interested in buying them ^^

One of the websites carrying this part. http://www.autopartsdealer.com/gtspe...tent=APD477093

thanks for any info

The GT Spec fender braces are for the G37, they never made fender braces for the G35.

That's very odd. Those aren't listed on GT Spec's website. I'm not aware that they ever made fender braces for the G35 Coupe, but others will chime in on this I'm sure.

EDIT: Here are a couple other places that have them FS.

Supposed to reduce chasis flex and improve handling.

Quote: GTSpec Fender Braces greatly improve the handling dynamics of your car. By combining Military-Grade 6061 Aluminum and precision cut CNC steel brackets, GTSpec has designed our Fender Braces to the highest standards in quality and performance. We employed CAD design to create a fender brace that mounts onto the OEM door hinge and the OEM inner fender, creating a triangular support that is both incredibly strong and incredibly lightweight. Fender braces provide reinforcement where your car needs it most, between the uni-body and front sub-frame. With GTSPEC Fender Braces, chassis flex is virtually eliminated, achieving an overall improvement in handling.

I remember seeing a few mentions, I think dofu may be one of them but I forgot. Are the fender braces we see really for the 350z but are being sold as G35 braces to ignorant customers? I just looked at the fender braces for the 350z on the GT spec website and they dont look anything like the ones in the link I posted.

I'm interested in getting them but I dont want to take the plunge without doing any research. I sure a lot of other board members would like to know more about this also.

BTW sorry about posting in the wrong thread. Thanks for the move

The pic in the link you posted is being used for fender braces of all makes on that site. Its not specific to the G35 Coupe. I've been searching around here, on 350z and google and I haven't found anything that proves that these were ever made for a G35 Coupe.

Either shady or clueless. So many sites list items for Sedans stating that they will fit 03-06 Sedans when they really only fit just 03-04s or just 05-06s.
