upon second look, you're right... originally I just gave it a quick glance and saw the different color and perch looked different at first glance... after looking again it is the same just different color (which seems suspect to me)...

Interesting that you would create a user name and post just for that

Seeing this picture gave me an idea

How about we all get together buy a couple twelve packs or more drink them all and have a great time. Repeat over and over until we have enough bottles to recycle and use the cash to buy someone these coilovers.

(But honestly I am just looking for a reason to drink lol)

Yarrr , I'll drink to that, even the cervza on the left. Just save me the bottles for a fundraiser.

Don't hold yee bredths, maties. The Sea Captin' has the mind to set course for Chinee to get some of these "yellow MDU".

$450 clams, wait 8 weeks and my drop suspension solution is ready to be unboxed.

I may have the wrenchs a-waitin for these importations for "mee soon to be launched experiment" in biting the bullet.

Give me a day or two to get the ***** to pull the trigger, maties.

I'm about chest deep right now in this opportunity. I may sink to the bottom, manana.

Forget the pirate talk. I probably will order a set G35 coilovers from these folks after Feb9. Which is the end of Chinese national Holiday. News Years there.

Here is why: Great price and answers from messages the past 3 days with the supplier "Racingfirst" about these G35 coilovers selling @ $450 shipped.

What I find out is: These certainly are MDU, though painted yellow as in the pic, includes upper pillow mounts, 2 spanners same as MDU's (selling on Ebay @$650), maybe more pricey elsewhere.

What is different is: The actual MDU (red painted) have 24 damper settings compared to the racingfirst version which has 18. This should be enough cover a "sweet spot" on drop and spring response.

Other than the obvious "clone" suspicion I do not have an issue with the item I think that these are small orders for this supplier "Racingfirst" from the same factory as the reputed MDU.

That is a form of internet business in Hong Kong to the world market. My experience for other product lines and has been good for me in the past 4years. Examples are multiple orders for for photography and audio accessories.

Anyone on the forum that may have more information to think that my ordering of these version of MDU coilovers are not worth the gamble please add your 2cents as you choose.

Sorry about the multiple post on same item. I'm learning the posting and editing here on the G35 forum.

Yes, I plan to order the $450 coilovers unless the wisdom on this thread convinces differently. I think they are MDU at lower price, less fine tune dampering adjustment.
