2003 infiniti g35 coupe best lowering suspension??

hello i have a 2003 infinti g35 6mt

I'm looking to lower the car but i would like to find
a good set up made but a decent company that
rides good. i really don't want to lose the ride quality i
have now.

that being said i don't want to spend a ridiculous amount of money on
it but i want something that will last

i may keep the stock wheels for now , i am undecided if I'm going to
put out the money for a nice rim and tire combo with some nice offsets,

i have been looking at the tein set up but i was told not to use the "base"

what do you recommend
any information helps

thanks

nothing wrong with tein basics as an entry-level coil. A lot of guys run them. As long as you don't require damper adjustability they should be on your short list.

Tein Basic is what you're referring to.

Oh boy.

We'll Tein basic is height adjustable, but not dampening adjustable. If you want to be able to change the dampening, or harshness of your ride then look into BC and Stance.

Maybe it's a better idea to save up for some quality wheels before you start mess'in with the suspension! Lowering our G35s isn't cheap unless Mommy & Daddy own a tire company because if you don't do it right you'll need tires frequently. The cost of the springs is minimal, then you'll need camber adjusters front and rear along with tow bolts and a 4 wheel alignment....it all adds up. Check our MARKETPLACE under vendor suspension for prices and then there's install costs....Welcome to our world!

my answer is Marinelli Motorsports is having a group by for ISC adjustable dampening coilovers... ends Feb 2nd. Im getting a set.. all my shocks are bad and ive always wanted some coils... and its less then 1000bucks shipped... with your choice of spring rates... again you will need camber/toe adjustment.. but in my case, i can careless cause i plan on getting new rims and tires after my tires go bald... so the sooner the better since its hard to sell partially used rubber...

i have decded im going to go with the axis super penta
they have a yellow stripe but im going to paint it black

http://axiswheels.com/view-wheel/axis-super-penta

i do realize they are a cheapr rim but they will do for now
so now i have to figure out if i want the

19" 9.5 rear and 8.5 front
20" 10 inch rear 9.0 front

i am also trying to decide what size of tire i should go with
maybe 275/35 on the rear and 245/35 front
or stretch the tires a bit 255/35 rear 225/35 front

also i will have to roll the fenders and figure out wheel spacers
25mm (front)
30mm Spacers (rear)

but would still like the same ride quality so im looking for a decent coil over set up.

im hopeing i wont need camber arms,

any help on the rim and tire size would be great

You keep saying you want to keep the stock ride quality, so I fear you are in for a big shock. Drop the car, put on a set of heavy 20s, and run thin tires to make them fit will only lead you to curse yourself for eternity. Even 19s will ride rougher than 18s usually.

Do plenty of research on coils as well, you usually get what you pay for. Sure you can get some for under $1000 new, but they won't compare in performance to a better quality coil. And remember, the smaller the sidewall of the tire the rougher it will ride. I've stayed on 40 series all around for a reason. When I bought my current rims they came with 235/35/19F and 275/30/19R and the ride was TERRIBLE compared to the 245/40/19 all around I was running previously. I couldn't get those tires replaced fast enough.

Just an FYI..............
