White thick padding on the front springs match up, but that green dot does through me off, its weird.
Whats the third dot on the spring on the left?

I'll check my dots tomorrow, little dark now lol. But I'm pretty sure they look like the ones above IIRC.

I am not sure, I will check when I get home, but the one on the left is what came off my car, it should be the stock sedan 6mt sport suspension front, it still has the red struts, etc.Originally Posted by thescreensavers

Measure the top of the wheel arch to the ground. It should be like 27.5 which is stock height. My rear is 27.0 and front is 26.5

The distance from the fender arch to the ground is going to differ for everybody, subject to changes in sidewalk height, tire pressure, gas tank content, brand of tires, etc. I have 255 35 19 so my measurement will be different compared to when I am on my stock snow tires which are 235 45 18
^ your right that might have to do, but people are either having the same height or higher in the front which is not how revised Z drop is.

The problem is that the z bumpstops are shorter than the G. This is to match the Z shorter shock pistons. If people use Z shocks and springs, but with G bumpstops, their cars maybe resting on the bumpstops

Guys, I want you to look at this.
The piston of the Z shocks is 1.5" shorter than the sport sedan shock in the rear.
I don't have time to explain this yet, but please take note of the difference in bumpstops being used, and the amount of compression permitted before bottoming out.

interesting, so the body is the same, just a shorter piston.. I wondered about that
it would seem to me that with lowered springs the shorter piston would be better (assuming you arent topping out the shock), but I have read posts claiming the Z shocks make the G drive like crap.. maybe cutting the bumpstop would fix that

Yes. The z shocks would lose significant travel if paired with the g35 bumpstops when using the z springs. I have reasons to believe that people who are not getting the full 1" drop at the rear are riding on the bumpstops. When the weight if the car sits on the shocks, the stock rear suspension only has a little over an inch of compression in the shocks. If you lower your car one inch you lose that compression unless the bumpstops are trimmed or a Z part is used
