I have a 2003 brembo coupe. My pads have started to squeal. I have searched the forum and have gotten mixed reviews. In about 5 months I am going to be moving up north so need a set that will do ok in cold weather. I have 41k on the car and was also wondering if anyone suggests I replace the stock rotors at the same time. I only drive the car hard once in awhile so i don't know how much wear they have on them. I think its come down to Hawk HPS or Project Mu's. The Project Mu's are a little more expensive but if they are better then i can warrant the cost. I am also looking for low dust pads. I might go the track after i move maybe 2 times a year if that so don't need anything with too much bite. It sounds as though the high pitch noise is only from the front which of course wears down faster but I am thinking of just replacing the back ones while I am at it.

Thanks, Mike

Love the Project Mu's so far, and they have been great in the cold winter we've had here in Philly so far. Bite and hold just like OEM Brembo pads, but a bit less dust and slightly less pricey than OEM. Hawk HPS will not work in cold weather, or rainy weather for that matter.

I am using them on Centric (Stoptech) Premium rotor blanks and the rotors have been excellent also. Very true and very cheap.

Oh ok. I was looking at the step up I think they are called b force. My rotors don't seem too worn and no grooves so I might just take the tire off and measure them. No shuddering when braking or grinding only high pitch stretch once in awhile not too much and not too loud but I notice a difference in stopping power. Thanks for the input.

B Force will probably lead to higher rotor wear, and are a little higher temp pad, which may not bite as well on the street. I've been very happy w/the NS - bites really well and seems to stand up to abuse too.
