04 G35 Coupe Caliper Bolt Fell Off

I just changed my brake pads three weeks ago and just two days ago while I was driving out of my neighborhood something went wrong with the front driver side brake. Made it back home, wincing through some horrible sounds coming from the wheel well. Today I took off the wheel to inspect and found out that the lower bolt that holds the caliper in place is completely missing. I'm 100% certain I fastened this bolt to spec when changing the pads but the entire thing is missing now. I called around to every Nissan and Infiniti dealer in my area and there was a lot of confusion about which bolt this was. It's labeled as a "union bolt" in the repair manual.

I need the bolt measurements to find a suitable replacement or need info on where I can order one. The dealers all had none in stock and would need to special order it so I'd like to just get it delivered to my door so I can put it on myself. I'm just hoping that no serious damage was done and that the threads on the caliper aren't worn down. Any help will be much appreciated!!

They should have replacement kits available at any automotive store which includes a new caliper sliding bolt. I'm pretty sure they're not Nissan specific....

You need to try a quality auto parts store, you know the kind that seems to carry everything. That s/b an -8 grade bolt and I recommend using Locktite red since you already had issues with losing one bolt.

Using red means it will never come out. Blue Locktite means it will keep the torque applied until you want to remove it.
