Front Suspension Noise

Front Suspension Noise
Hello, everyone! I did some researching but did not find what I needed. My front suspension on my 03 coupe with about 94k miles is very rough over bumps and does not feel smooth like factory. Before the noise occurred I had on Skunk2 lowering springs that was about a 2.5 in drop. Once I removed the lowering springs and placed on the OEM springs again, this started to happen.
Well here's my question. What do you think is wrong with it?
I've seen some say that it can be a compression rod bushing, new struts, strut mounts.
I'm on a budget right now and I don't want to spend money on something that wont fix it. I'm highly sure that its the struts.
I was thinking about getting the Tokico blue front struts since i heard that it was equilvalent to oem.
What do you think I should get to fix it?
Also, I went to sears auto here in the midwest and they evaluated my car and said that my struts are bad and I need strut mounts. I just wanted to make sure on here if anyone else had a similar problem. Thank you very much!

I think I've been running into the same problem. I've had the stocks on the whole time and after 100,000 miles, I am getting a noise like that also. My mechanic said that he believes it to be the mounts or shackles <(something like that). When I go over bumps, it sounds like the front end is loose. I am getting a set of coil overs now and hopefully that works. I am sure if I replaced for another set of stocks, that would fix it too. I just justified getting new suspension and my nephew has a shop to do the work for me too, to cut cost.
