Guys that are slammed on coilovers out there. I have a question about jacks...

What are you using to lift your car so you can adjust your ride. Like for the really slammed guys are you driving up small wood blocks first then using a jack to lift up.

I'm getting coilovers and this is the first time using them. I would like to have the car pretty flush with tire and rim. Just scratching my head with the idea of how to adjust spring height.

I drive up on a small wooden block, then lay the OEM jack on its side and can barely get it under there. I raise the car enough to use a low profile jack then jack up the car. Depends on how low you go whether or not you have use an OEM jack first or you can just use a low profile jack.

^ pff really!?

It's the oem sides bro I can barely fit the oem jack but I can get it started that way. I have impul sides just haven't installed them yet. I figure once I do I will have to go up on wood blocks..

I made some ramps out of a couple 2x6's.

Drive up on the ramps, then use low pro jack with some custom adapter pads I made

I drive up on a couple of 2x4's staggered a bit so it's like a block ramp, then I just go straight in with my jack.

Go to home depot and make something like this with a longer, less steep, ramp.

I used to drive onto 2x10 boards just to get my low profile floor jack far enough to reach the frame. Then I found this thread on My350z. Check out post #7. Thats what I did and no longer need the 2x10s.
