Grind noise while turning right

I have an 05 5AT Coupe and every time I turn to the right, hard or soft, I hear and feel grinding. It almost sounds as if it is coming from inside the steering wheel. When I turn left it acts normal. I recently installed headers and had to disconnect the drive line to put them in. Do you think that has anything to do with it? Thanks for your help.

Solved. Steering rod is slightly touching the header causing a slight grinding while turning right.

hey i'm having the same problem with my 05 coupe as well. I noticed it today with the radio off. I wouldn't say it sounds like grinding noise, but more like a deep squeak if that makes sense?

any thoughts?
