Clicking Noise Front of Car

I began to hear a thumping noise when driving above 5 mph. Rear of G wheels.

I had a similar noise and finally replaced the sway bar ends and fixed it all. $200 total.

I had this exact clicking issue.
I could especially hear it when I was going about 2-5 mph and turning.
It ended up being the well known "axle click".
The dealership just had to relube the axle.
There is a DIY on the boards some place.

@ smeres, you said, "I also hear a slightly different "click" or "grind" noise when I pull into a parking spot and make a sharp turn at low speed. Happens when wheel is turned really far."
I had the same problem also. I greased the bearing on the hat of the front struts, and the clicking noises were gone. In addition, if you have aftermarket swaybars then the clicking noise is coming also from the front endlinks. You will need adjustable endlinks.

pop the hood and use a flashlight to check out the serpentine belt. mine was so chewed up it wasn't even funny and I've only got 80k miles on my G. Its right at the front of the engine behind the front bumper.

I had the same issue as you and this fixed it easy.
