Exclamation Problem after BC Racing and SPC kit install

Today, I have installed BC coilovers and SPC kit; the install went smoothly until I test drove the car.

Now both VDC and Slip lights are ON. Not only that but also the car does not move forward when foot off the brake, feels as if something is pulling against it, so gotta accelerate for it to move. I don't hear any clicking and I don't know what is going on?

Where the shims installed, and if so where the spacers installed behind the sensors on the front wheels?

did you install a front and rear SPC kit, or just the rear? if you did the front, verify that you have the correct gap between the ABS sensor and the back of the bearing hub.

also, if you installed a front kit, double check that the shims are installed in the correct orientation. if you put them upside down, the brake caliper and rotor will be misaligned.

check your shims and abs sensor positioning. it's tough to get it installed correctly, I didn't even bother putting my shims on and my camber isn't too bad without them.

If you only have the the SLIP and VDC lights on and NOT the ABS light then it's an alignment problem. Your rear camber/toe is probably so far out that the wheels are working against eachother, not allowing the car to roll smoothly.

^^ +2 If you don't hear any noises, your alignment is most likely that far out of whack!

FYI - If you ever upgrade to a BBK you may have to remove the shims for it to work properly.

First I've heard of that. I have a BBK and still run the shims.

Well my next few mods would be wheel spacers prolly 20mm front and 35mm in the rear (any brand recommandation since we're at it?), sway bars then a set of Akebono
