I bought TOKICO HP SERIES (WRONG ONE?) Please Help

Hello G lovers
I have g35 03 coupe
I bought a pair of rear tokico hp shocks from AutoAccessories.com
I bought them for 190 bucks including shipping
However Im very confused if i bought the right ones.

I looked at some pics of hp shocks and there seem like more than one type of hp shock...

The pics from ebay and the pics from the autoaccessories web are different..
This is scary..haha if i bought the wrong ones this is sad....
The pic of only 4 shocks is what i bought from auto
The pic of 4 shocks with 4 boxes is from ebay.

Why do they look different?
When i bought them from autoaccessories, i even set the model as g35 coupe..
Should i buy anything extra..?
Please help~~~

you should be fine, the photo on the site u bought it from could just be the stock photo which doesn't reflect the actual product you ordered.

You need to remove the upper mount and the dust boot on your OEM shocks and transfer it to the new ones. It takes about 5 minutes. But no, those are the correct ones they will look exactly like that when you pull them out of the box.

Most of the websites never post actual photos of the product. Ebay and other auctions do, that's why the difference in photos.
You should be fine, as long as you choose shocks based on your vehicle, you should not have any problems.

More importantly, let us know how they ride and handle compared to stock. I'm on the fence deciding if I should go with these shocks and struts and coils or get a set of BC racing coil overs.

They are pretty close to stock, you not going to notice a difference. Originally Gs are equipped with Tokico shocks.

However, Tokico HP are no good with lowered springs. They go out quite fast (70k in my case)
If you have lowered springs, best to go with Tokico D-spec (which currently not available in US) or Koni Yellow. Both are adjustable and have lifetime warranty (Tokico limited lifetime, Koni Lifetime )
