Tein Flex collar removal question.

Anyone have any experience with removing the collar on Tein Flex's? How much lower can it get by removing it? I'm already maxed out & my spring mount has been cut. I need moar low.

Collars are for dogs.

haha. I removed them on my old Megan's. I'm sure you'll be fine.

i removed both of mine as well...dropped roughly .5" more with the removal...you can also cut your spring mounts and gain a little more drop

^^ I'm thinking about doing the same thing. My Tein Basics don't drop my rear nearly enough, and I've already done the springmount mod. I could use another 1/2 - 3/4 of an inch drop. Do we know how safe it is to drive around with both of those collars taken off?
