Odd Sounds Coming from the front! Newbie HELP!
Hey all, so for awhile now I've noticed a few odd things going on with my G. First, When I first start the car, put it in drive, and begin to drive, about 10 seconds into it I hear an odd sound coming from the front. Sounds like some sort of mechanical pressure release sound...I'm not really sure how to describe this sound. First noticed it when I was driving away and braked at the same time the noise was happening and the brake peddle jolted and make a grinding sound. :-/
Also, My brakes squeal, loudly, but only in reverse. The squealing always happens, when its warm, when its cold, after long drives, short drives, and when just starting up.
Lastly, When driving freeway speed especially downhill, (I drive in the mountains often) when braking the car shakes or vibrates, but I don't get any of that in the pedal. Could that be warped rotors??
Could really use some advise on this to make sure I'm not avoiding a big problem! Haven't had the car long, since March. Its an 05' Coupe AT.
THANKS!!!

The sound you hear and feel in the pedal is the car testing the ABS system. It does it once, everytime you start the car (I believe once you hit 10 mph). You dont hear/feel it but once a drive right?
Check your brake pads, could be the noise makers. If the pads have plenty of life, then you will have to deal with it or replace the brakes...Some are just squeaky. You can try taking the pads off and putting some anti squeal compound on it but it usually does not work.
The rotors could be warped, or it could be a worn out suspension component causing the shaking. Something you will need to get checked by a professional (usually you feel it in the pedal).
