Sorry I'm new to G35 Driver and I'm not sure where to post this, but I have Godspeed Camber Arms and Toe Arm, but my camber is still VERY negative. Do I need SPC Toe Bolts to fix this? I don't think the Godspeed camber kit comes with the Toe Bolt Adjustment.

 

 

So you installed the adjustable upper a-arms front along with the rear adjusters, when you had the alignment done what did the mechanic tell you and can you post the alignment sheet? Some a-arms aren't worth installing cause they don't allow enough adjustment to bring your alignment back to OE specs....tow and camber are different animals but from the pic you need toe bolts.

Im not familiar with those camber arms, but they all work pretty much the same. Was your camber done recently? If so I would go back to the shop and talk to them about it. It's possible that they adjusted the camber as far positive as possible while keeping the toe in spec. As you adjust the camber it affects the toe so the fix is elongating the hole for the toe bolt and buying a new toe bolt to allow for more toe adjustment.
I wouldnt have left the alignment shop without answers, because what you paid for and what you got dont add up.

 

It was already on the car when I bought it. Yeah looks maxed out to me too. Do you think I should buy the SPC Camber Kit?

 

If it was me I would jack up the car and see how much adjustment is left. I would mark the arms with a marker by making a horizontal line across the adjusting nut and arm, then vertical line at the edge of the adjusting nuts. Then loosen the nuts and try adjusting the camber as far positive as possible. You need alignment work anyways, so this will help you determin if you need new arms, or just a to bolt. If you cant get enough positive adustment out of them, order up some quality arms that come with toe bolts and trash the Godspeed arms. Then of course schedule another appointment for an alignment.

You have the traction arms installed in addition to camber arms. My understanding is that the traction arms will allow you to adjust toe, just as SPC toe bolts will. Definitely take the car to a shop that is comfortable working on modded cars.

When you adjust camber, toe changes as well, which is why the stock toe bolts often can't get the car back into spec after a drop. Your traction arms should work though. Some say that they're better than toe bolts, as the adjustment is easier and a little more secure.

 

I have SPC Camber Arms and Toe Bolts now, fully adjusted and I still have the traction arms, am I better off getting the OEM traction arms?
