Need lots of input

I am asking all of you DIYers and people who have had shops install suspension components a few questions. I own a 2005 g35X.

First: I need to do my front bearings badly and figured if I am going to start yanking the front end apart, I may as well start replacing bushings. I bought a 12 ton press to aid me and figured I would put it to good use. There are Whiteline and Energy Suspension bushings available. Which ones have you gotten installed and what is you feedback on the results. If you did the work yourself, any advice on things to watch out for or tips to make things easier. What type of grease did you use and on what parts of the components did you apply it to?

Second: I have already installed BC Coilovers and have don't believe I have the preload set up correctly. How is this exactly accomplished? I have checked several different websites and have found conflicting information. Since I might have screwed up the preload, how would I check to see if the shock is still good?

Third: I have the Akebono big brake upgrade kit and am looking to get new pads and rotors. I really only drive on the street but may do a track course once in a blue moon. What setups have you guys got on your vehicles?

I thank you for your time and appreciate your advice.
