Squeaky noise on my brakes
It might most likely not be the breaks to tell you the truth. "Squeaky" noises could be caused by worn out bushings (Control arm bushing, compression arm bushing or even camber upper arm bushings), it could be bad tie rods (Inner or Outer.) or even the wheel bearings. You might want to check on those first. I had the same situation after changing from heavy 45lbs 20" rims the last owner had on the car to light forged 18lbs 19" rims... I had to change the worn out OEM control arm bushings for whiteline bushings, compression arm bushings to SPL, I have to still change my 3.5 month old godspeed camber kit bushings, the inner tie rods and the wheel bearings. But in my case I am trying to align the car. Squeaking noises dissapeared almost entirely once I changed control and compression arm bushings. Just missing the inner tie rods and wheel bearings... And I have to somehow have someone customer make more resistant bushings for my godspeed camber kit...
Good luck with locating the issue. Check those part and I am sure you might find the cause. Then again if the issue are the breaks for sure, then something might be loose there. Hehe. Loose breaks are a big "NO, NO." lol.
