Doesn't seem like motor mounts go bad often. Who knows... The curb I smacked laughs at me when I pass it every day.

If you want to test your motor mounts engage your e-brake and have someone watch the motor move while you try to accelerate. Motor mounts go bad all the time.

I think something is finally starting to break. Don't know if it's related to the vibrations I've been having though. Say I am stopped and taking a left turn...I have the wheel turned to the left already, and when I accelerate and turn the wheel even more left I hear a knock in the front end. I also hear another noise as I was turning right directly over a speed bump. That was more of a clunk.

How much does the engine have to move to even consider changing the mounts?

Also, I was coming to a turning stop when making a K-turn...Felted like the suspension continued to move forward when braking, like it was loose.

Well just had the car up in the air and found the steering rack I just put in is leaking from each boot. Also making a lot of fluid moving around noise when I turn the steering wheel left and right.

Don't know what to do now!!!

I wouldn't replace the steering rack unless it's leaking. My car drifts all over while on the highway, needs to be corrected constantly, and hear all types of popping noises while turning.

I can't wait to replace my steering rack, then I will go back to diagnose the gas pedal vibration.

Aaron my G35 sedan has about 132k and does what you have been describing. I replaced everything you have except for a couple of more items like sway bar bushings, lower control arm, shock mounts, new rack and pinion. I have not replaced my ball joints because they did not show any signs of a problem. I have not replaced my upper control arm either because it did not occur to me to check it. My tires are wearing evenly and do not appeared to be feathered. I do have a few other symptoms you do not have one of which is a loud bang when I go from reverse to drive (after driving aggressively or driving in traffic). I also had a weird rubbing noise that would only appear whenever I turned the wheel after the car has been sitting for a while. That sound has disappeared and now this feeling has replaced it. I do not know what is causing this but I have a sneaking suspension that it lies somewhere around the drive train.

Check your lower control arm bushings. Mine look okay, but wondering if that is causing my problems. I can't wait to put in my steering rack (will be getting it Monday) and hopefully that will solve all my problems!

I have not replaced my sway bar bushings, but may be a good idea to do so.
