Im in the same boat as you. The previous owner of my car put on AP's in the front and left the stock rears. The Rear AP's are just way too expensive. I'm gonna get the Akebono for the rear and paint them to match my custom painted AP's. Eventhough they won't be a matching set, the AP fronts have GREAT stoping power compared to the Akebono's. So keep that in mind. If you are use to the AP's you will be disappointed by the Akebono's.

Here's a link to an inexpensive set of Wilwoods on ebay. Looks like the rotors are cheap, but that's easy enough to fix. I'm keeping these in the back of my mind when I want to change out my rears, I have Wilwood fronts.

Just a thought.....

BTW I've been following these for a few months so they seem to be readily available and have plenty of supply.

not only that, most people won't notice the calipers unless they get up close to look at them as long as they are color matched, most people won't even notice. when you are driving, it looks the same.

The Akebonos only have 13.75" rear rotor. I thought the fronts could be larger or the same diameter as the rears since most of your stopping power is in front.

here's the kit from megan http://www.meganracing.com/product_d...d=579&catid=63 not a bad price for a full front and rear kit.
