Motordyne sway bars anyone?

So I'm looking into doing more to my suspension set up. Next up is front strut bar (GTspec seems to be the winner on that one from what I've been hearing) and sway bars. My mind is pretty made up on getting the MD sways. Already have full MD exhaust and after a yr still love it. Read some reviews and seem to be one of the best.
Was wondering if other members with them can tell me about them and how they like them or ppl with other brands like theirs. Like I said I'm pretty set on them so if someone has an opinion on why not to go with MD or another better sway set go for it!!

I'm quite happy with my MD sways. The only debate would be solid (heavier but unlikely to break) vs hollow (lighter, may possibly break). Also, the MD sways use stock type bushings for reduced noise.

I needed upgraded endlinks immediately after installing these. Plus, I'm lowered an inch so adjustable endlinks were beneficial. The SPLs are somewhat noisy, but only noticeable at low speeds. If I were to do it over, I would try a different brand of endlinks, but for now I just live with it.

MD sways have very good reviews, but so do hotchkis (I run these), and stillen as well as some others. MD would be a solid choice regardless.

I have the MD sways. My only issue with them is that they are a little snug around the rear bushings so they liked to squeak, until I greased they crap out of them. Now that they are greased they are silent and great!

The MD sways are great, but I don't think SPL endlinks a great for a daily driver.

I haven't heard any noise from the swaybar bushings. I seem to remember that the MD sways only replace the bushings on one end (front or rear?) of the car. The original bushings still had a light coating of factory grease. I didn't really grease the new bushings, but maybe I wiped some grease from the old ones and put it on the new ones.

Now my Energy Suspension compression rod bushings are another story. One side makes a bunch of noise when I'm backing out and turning out of my driveway. I'm not sure if it was the wrong or not enough grease (Marine heady-duty bearing grease) or if I just didn't squeeze the two ends together tight enough. I'm leaning towards the latter since I only hear it from one side.

when you get sways do you have to change out the endlinks? or its just recommended or what else do you have to do when you get sways? that way if i have to get everything all together i can do that. i was thinking just the sways...then later on camber kit. doing stuff one at a time.

I run the Hotchkis sways and really like them. But the MD weren't out yet when I bought mine or I would have purchased them instead to support Tony, one of my hero's on this board. If he says part X will do Y you know he speaks the truth. You really can't go wrong with either choice IMO.

alpa, you don't necessarily need to replace your endlinks when you do sways, but if you have an 03-04 car I would recommend it. The 05s and up had revised els that were much stronger. I'm dropped a lot and have 92K miles on my car. I bought in to the hype of the SPL els so I bought a set and sold them in 4 months because I souldn't get them to stop popping and creaking no matter how may times I adjusted them. Put my stockers back on with over 90K miles on them and the car is smooth and quiet now like it should be. Probably end up replacing them with more stockers when I cross the 100K mark for peace of mind, they're ridiculously cheap ~$35 if you look around.

i got the hotchkis as well, got them in 04, at the time, they offered three way set up in front and rear, more than any other set of sways at the time. i still maintain my oem end links and 90k miles is still fine.

Yea I hear good things about the hotchkis and lots of members seem to have them. I prefer MD since I have full MD exhaust and plenum spacer. I trust them and their products and Tony helped me out a lot with choosing my exhaust an answered every question I had. If they made more stuff for our cars I'd probably get whatever they make!

I will probably put an order in for the MD sways in the next week or two. Got a few other things to get first and get done.

But I have an 06 so I will stay with the stock els.

Suggestion to grease up bushings and everything while I'm down there switching sways?

Sorry, if you believe that braces can leverage meaningfull levels of force across their mounting planes then you just as likely to ignor factual bar diameters and go off of recommendation's from other people that did the same thing. Again, sorry.

Said it before, I'll say it again

I recommend the following front and rear adjustable bar sets.

If I do not list it, I DON'T recommend it.

H&R
Progress Group
Hotchkis
Eibach
350EVO (if you can find it used)
Nissan Motorsports (made by 350EVO and 100% not a Nismo product)

Stillen would be on the list by I have seen one owner with a failure that causes me to pull my recommendation
