Hawks HPS or StopTech pads?

Which do you prefer. I've read good and bad about Hawk and only good about StopTech. Your thoughts?

For the street I had the Hawks and will not buy them again. IMO the feel was terrible and if it was wet or the pads were cold, it felt like you didn't have much stopping power. I've since switched to Carbotechs. The one one thing I notice about these pads is that they have excellent modulation. I've also noticed that heel/toe operation is much easier. As far as temperature and weather...hot/cold, wet/dry the stopping power is there. You will not be dissapointed.

Agree with stinky tofu. I'm really liking the ST309 pads, but they do dust alot. It's a good tradeoff for better braking.

i had both HPS and StopTech.
Ill say HPS has better topping power when it heats up.
stoptech has better initial bite but fades a little bit compare to HPS.

I wouldn't take Hawk HPS pads if they were given to me for free. The HP+ pads are a different story. HPS pads had weak initial bite but bite like a **** when heated up.

RacingBrake ET pads... Can't beat em. Great bite even at cool temps, little to no dust and a great product all around. I have their BBK on my '06 coupe - love it!

Had the HPS pads. Loved them when it was hot and dry. Didn't have any brakes when it was wet and cold. Will NEVER buy them again.

If you are looking for a low dust street pad, go with Akebono Pro ACT or even the PosiQuiet pads. StopTechs are a good step up from that, the HPS is just garbage.
