camber kit needed when lowering car?

hey guys, im wondering that if when i lower my car using the tein s-techs on my g35 sedan 2003, if i will need a camber kit?

i know lowering it will give me some camber and camber wear on the tires, but how much life is expected out of my tires if i dont use a camber kit?

and if anyone is running this set up without a camber kit as well.

thanks in advance.

I just installed a front and rear camber kit today. I've been running on stock camber arms for 6 months on eibach springs. The inside of the tire went bad after 3 months. Then I went to shop so they can take the tires off the rim and flip them the other way so I drove 3 more months on those tires. Now I got a camber kit and new tires. If u decide to get a camber kit, don't buy cheap ones like godspeed or kinetix because a lot of people say they bent or brake while u drive.

Camber kits are a must the majority of the time even if you don't lower your car much at all. The main reason for buying GOOD camber kits is mainly because the off brand or cheaper ones don't provide you with enough positive or negative adjustment. Those camber kits aren't cheap either.. which is why the springs that I got for cheap a couple months ago are still sitting in corner in my garage.

If you don't use a camber kit.. don't expect your tires to last long at all.

Can you post a link to the front and rear camber kits you've install on your car? Also, yours is a first gen. sedan?

I don't need to see pics of your car. If you can just post a link to the camber kit you purchased. Thanks.

I'm at the point where I'm debating if I should get the rear camber arms all together, one for each side. I'm not slammed, but I'm dropped about 1.3" Front and 1.1" Rear. I think I can get away with just the elongated toe bolts in the rear and nothing in the front. My alignment before/ after shows that I'm out of spec by less that 2 degrees. I really just need adjustment ability for upto +/- 2.0* degrees. I think these: http://www.z1motorsports.com/350_g35...oducts_id=4637 will work for the rear, but now I need something comparable for the front. Any suggestions?

I've actually been lowered for over 3 years now, but recently, I went maybe .25" lower all around. I've never had premature or uneven tire wear. In fact, I'm still on the same set of tires for 3+ years now. I'm more concerned about this time around, being that I'm a tad lower, and would possibly like to avoid uneven wear in the future. Hence, I'm simply looking for elongated toe bolts to try out for now and go from there.

SPCs are really good and they come with the toe bolts so you can get back into spec.
Out of spec toe can wear tires quicker than neg camber.
