Need rotor suggestions

I have a 2005 G35 coupe MT.. I currently have 41k miles on the car and in need of new front rotors and pads.. The back has already been changed by the previous owner..
My question is, what rotor should i get? Slotted or non slotted? any suggestions? I am going to be getting the ACT888 Akebono ProACT Ceramic Pads brake pads.

Centric (OEM) has two lines - eline and premium rotors. Stoptech and Powerslot are higher-end rotors (both owned by Centric). You can get these at R1concepts by browsing their ebay auctions or better yet call them and ask them to beat whatever lowest quote you can get elsewhere. Several members love EBC rotors. too.

Other places to consider would be RockAuto or TireRack.

It's all going to come down to your budget but I would avoid cheap knock-offs and minimally stick to the Centric elines. FWIW, I bought slotted Centric premium rotors from R1concepts awhile back with no issues. Good luck with the rotor/pad choices.

Whoops, didn't read your OP more carefully. What are the rear rotors/pads you have currently?

I'll second the Centric premium rotors. I am running them up front on my '04 and they are indistinguishable from the OEM Infiniti rotors in every way except for price - about 1/4 the price of OEM. Fantastic rotors at a great price. I am running plain blanks, not slotted, as slotted is pointless for the street.

quick question. on those Centric rotors does the black e-coating on the hat also cover the unswept area on the face of the rotors so there is no rust ring that forms?

could you snap a pic and post? want to see how bad it is.

damn, I may just have to buy some rotors and paint them myself.

you would think a company like Centric and the other aftermarket companies could get a simple thing like this right.

thanks.

+1. I have Z1's non-brembo drilled & slotted rotors now for over a year and they are holding up great.
