replaced front rotors and pads with OEM now squeeking like crazy ?

at 42K miles I replaced just the front pads with Hawk pads and left the rotors alone and had zero problems.

I just replaced my rear pads now at 80k miles with OEM pads and left the rotors alone and had zero problems.

A week later I replaced my front rotors and front brake pads and now they're squeeking like crazy when going very slow or when coming to a stop.

After I finished doing this job myself my wife drove the car to and from work for a few days only 5 miles to and from. I just told her to take it easy on them or not to slam on the brakes for awhile.

I put on new pads, used the shims that were in there, put brake grease on the back of the pads where the caliper touches the pads, put brake grease on the shims where the pads touch them, I greased up the slider pins (ones with rubber on the tips go in the bottom hole right ?) and I cleaned the oil off the new rotors with brake cleaner and put it all back together. I don't get what's wrong. The pads are blue and all parts came from a Nissan dealer.

sounds like a POS any suggestions ???????

This is the first of many possible causes, but that is not the proper break in procedure. It varys from one platform to another, and even between manufacturers but generally after I install a new set of pads and/or rotors you immediately go out and do some aggresive stops.

Heres a link I found via a quick search, its a pretty good general procedure.

Let me know if I can help in any way, Goodluck!
