G35 Coupe "Sport Package"
I Think I May Be Very Late to the Party, But...

my understanding has always been that any spring designed for the 350Z, OEM or aftermarket, would lower a G Coupe another .5 inch in addition to what the drop is listed for the Z, front and rear.

I have recently read through some threads on here that say the front will drop another .5 inch, but that the rear will remain unchanged with springs designed for the Z...is this true?

I have a 2005 G Coupe and run RS*R Ti2000 for the 350Z. that would explain the lack of drop in rear and I have thought of doing the spring mount mod.

can anyone confirm this for me. thanks.

I can confirm the rear will not drop

I have Z springs on my G, measuring before and after, and saw no change in the rear

thank you sirs. IMO the rear of my G coupe did not drop an extra .5 inch either. once I get her off the jack stands and out of the garage in the spring, I am going to measure.

believe the OEM heights from fender to ground are 27.32F and 27.64R. someone correct me if I am wrong.

love my setup of RS*R Ti2000 350Z springs and Tokico D-Specs for the Z and have no intentions of changing it, but would like the rear to drop about .5 inch to be more in line with the look of the front drop...which IMO is perfect.

think I may buy a set of spring mounts and take them to a machine shop to have cut perfectly. the hacksaw method looks very akward and not precise.

Same here, and the Z springs are more cushion than the stock G.

I springmount modded, and will be putting the stock G springs on the back with the Z on the front.
