Dilemma of Springs vs. Sway Bars, need advice...

Okay, so I purchased 350z revised springs a few months ago to lower my '07 coupe a bit.

I had them installed, verifying they were indeed revised springs. Z1 Motorsports did the swap, checking against a 2005 350z that the springs were correct.

Well, the front dropped nicely, but the rear did not. Also, on my drive home I noticed the ride is significantly softer than stock. Less jarring, bouncier, and much more body roll during hard turns.

I proceeded to live with it, confused as to how the springs are so different yet the stickied threads state the rates were the same. I did the springmount mod to lower the rear and the stance is now exactly how I want it.

But the performance isn't. All straight-line acceleration aside (body roll backward plants the rear tires, etc.), I want better handling.

Do I....

1. Get Sway Bars, hoping they make up for the soft suspension? I've read both that they are the best mod ever, and then some say they are only to REFINE the handling.

2. Throw on my original stock REAR springs? Firming the rear but keeping the softer fronts? Will a mish mash be okay?

3. Get aftermarket springs that drop me properly and also, what springs to get? I want that stiff-*** suspension back.

4. Coils aren't an option yet, to head off the obvious comments

That said, I haven't tracked my car to PROVE the softer springs handle worse. I just prefer a flatter handling car. Stiffness when riding isn't an issue.

Options? Comments? Thoughts?

Thanks, guys.

the sway bars will decrease body roll.
The stock springs will make it higher in the back.. I don't think that will improve your handling
I heard the 350z springs are pretty good..

If you want to reduce body roll, get some good sways. I honestly feel like you have the most to gain from sways over springs. Save up, and get a good set of coilovers later on down the line.
