broken teins?

So just installed some used tein flex's with about 30,000 miles. I am 2 clicks from full stiff in the fronts and about 4-5 clicks from full stiff in the rear and the car is still way too bouncy. Every time I hit a dip, the seat drops and and then my *** drops right into it

I read the instructions and 8 clicks from full stiff is recommended for daily driving (halfway between stiff and soft). Any ideas whats wrong or what to do?

Thanks guys

To begin I'd try adjusting them until you're not bottoming out....full stiff. If that doesn't work, email Tein and ask them if they'll rebuild them for you. If not it appears you're in for a new set. Shocks/Coilovers generally last 70K+ miles, I'm guessing yours have more than 30K miles on them regardless what the previous owner claims....

My friend said to adjust the height of the shock and NOT the spring seat lock to adjust height of the vehicle. Could this be my problem? He said that adjusting the height of the spring seat locks (which I've tried to do to adjust vehicle height) will only stiffen or make the ride bouncier. I think he's right because the car is almost full stiff but still bouncy as hell.
