Front lower ball joint boots

Greetings,
I'm a new member on G35.com and I was wondering if anyone knows if any aftermarket replacement ball joint boots are available for the front lower ball joints? Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

No go

Both the Infiniti and Nissan dealership parts departments will only sell you the steering knuckle (control arm) with the ball joint and boot for approximately $233.00 and some change. The original ball joint boots are made by a German company named Freudenberg- NOK. I have checked with them and the part number on the boot is not in their database. I have also checked with Energy Suspension, Suspension Techniques and Prothane to no avail. Energy Suspension sells a complete urethane suspension bushing kit for the G35, but no ball joint boots, at least not separate from the kit. I think my only option is to either buy two new aftermarket ball joints from Autozone that are made in Japan and come with new boots for $68.00 each or see if I can find a close universal boot from Energy Suspension. I'm sure there is a bunch of G35 owners out there who have this same problem as it seems to be a very common problem for the factory boots to deteriorate over a relatively short period of time.

I could have sworn the dealer had the boot. Try ask for a 350z or Nismo boot. That might work.

Update

Autozone sells the factory OEM front lower ball joints with boots under the Duralast name with part number BJL148 for $67.99 each. I thought for sure that they would be a cheap aftermarket replacement, but it turns out that they are the OEM joints made in Japan. The only difference is the socket portion is anodized.

The picture is not 100% accurate, but the boots are definitely the original OEM parts made by Freudenberg NOK with the exact same part number and the ball joints look identical as well.

Nice find Driver Dave, I would give these a shot, but unfortunately I don't think Autozone ships to Canada . As for now I am leaning towards trying the eBay 60$ joints with Energy polyurethane boots
