Horrible Creakings/Squeaking From Rear

Hey fellas,

When I originally purchased my car there was a slight creaking/squeaking sound coming from the rear. It mainly occured when I was making a U turn or reversing up a ramp.

I recently lowered my car on KW V1's and the creaking sound has gotten significantly louder. It now happens on not only U turns and reversing, but also going over uneven pavements.

I took my car to my local shop and they greased the bushings at the end of the rear sway bar but that didnt help. We looked under the car and came to the conclusion that it could be the rear end links. When he pulls on the sway bar you can hear the creaking coming from that area.

My question is could it be something other than the rear end links? I plan on purchasing the AMS rear end links to try and eliminate this problem but wanted to know if anyone else had any other suggestions. I did do a search but it doesnt seem like many people have a creaking sound from the end links.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Check and make sure your spring pre load is tight and secure.

UPDATE: installed new OEM sway bar end links and now all the squeaking/creaking is completely gone! Very happy to say that the sway bar end links were the culprit.

Hopefully the car stays quiet
