Brake Power Booster Questions

Ok, so I have always complained about the brakes on my 03 G Sedan.

I upgraded to the G37 Akebono's and the power is substantially better but what I cannot comprehend is why the 05 + G35's and even the G37's with standard brakes have nearly the same braking force.

Could it be the master cylinder or brake power booster that make the difference?

Something is truly wrong here.

Suggestions any one?

What do you mean by "same braking force"? Do you mean the amount of pedal pressure required, or the amount of brake force applied to the pads/discs?

The amount of force applied to the rotors.

I also saw on RockAuto.com that there is a brembo specific master cylinder for our G's.

It is slightly larger

The Brembo equipped G coupes of 2003-04 indeed did have a different master cylinder bore, as well as a different brake booster (double diaphragm vs single on the 5AT and on the sedans), but the additional brake torque likely has more to do with the larger diameter rotors on the Brembos, 05+ and G37's. The different brake booster mainly affects pedal feel.
