Rubbing or bad bearing sound from front wheels.

Just noticed about a week ago that I have a strange rubbing sound coming from the front wheels of my 04. Sounded like I was needing new brake pads, so after new brake pads, which did not really need changed, but I went ahead anyway, and rotor turning, i am still getting the same sound. Almost a grinding or wobbling sound at all speeds. Am I looking at bearing problems here? Is this a common problem? This is my first Infiniti car, and I love it, but I really don't want to tear into it without knowing some sort of direction first. Thanks in advance.

More than likely, your front tires are feathered/cupped on the inside edge, causing the loud roaring sound while you're driving at any speed. The faster you go, the louder it gets...and when you come to a complete stop, it seems to intensify.

If your bearings check out OK, then this is most likely the problem.
