Upgrading from stock 17's to some 19" wheels, confused on suspension height

I have 113k miles on my 2004 g35 coupe with the stock 17's and stock suspension.

I bought some 7 series BMW 19" wheels with adapters.

I'm confused how much it'll raise my car height, it won't raise 2 inches right? Probably a stupid quesiton...

Depending on how much the car raises, i'll want to get it back to the original height or maybe .5-1 inches lower. Nothing extreme, just very minor.

I've looked at the whole springs vs. coilovers debate and i'm decided on springs as my car is a daily driver on normal roads and just casual driving.

What springs should I get? Get shocks too and a front/rear camber kit? Don't want to spend a lot as I don't want to lower it a ton

Your Infiniti won't raise any if you use the correct size tires! You should be running 35 series tires with the 19" wheels which might bring it down 1/2 inch over OE height....Gary

Completely forgot about looking at the tire sizes! Makes things easier lol

My wheels are 225 front and 235 rear

The bmw wheels are 245 front and 275 rear

So to calculate the rear for example, extra 40 mm = 1.57 inches and since it's a circle, half it? So the rear is going to raise up .785 inches?

Am i making this complicated?

Will I be needing to get some lowering springs if it raises the car too much from my height right now?

If you are looking for a conservative drop, the H&R Sport Spring is a great choice as it lowers the vehicle 1.1 inches in the front & 1.0 inches in the rear.
